Description
In this exclusive, one of a kind camp, students will enter the world of a computer technician. From researching parts and prices on the Internet to plugging in video cards, students will discover the nuts and bolts of building a computer! Students will begin by designing their own ultimate virtual computer, assuming unlimited resources. This allows them to design a “pie in the sky” computer with a 60” plasma screen, the fastest CPU and memory, gaming video cards, and hard drives with enormous capacity. Students will then come down to earth and assemble a real working computer, which they may take home for a nominal lab fee. Returning students will learn advanced topics from our resident technical guru with over 20 years of experience!
