| Typing is an essential skill in today’s high tech world. By establishing correct typing techniques, students will reduce the amount of time spent on homework and have a valuable skill they can use throughout their lives. This is accomplished by mastering finger placement and posture to ensure accuracy, practicing to build up speed, and covering fingers in order to type by touch. Students are stimulated by encouraging instructors as well as entertaining programs that are designed for beginning and advanced typists. Keyboard covers and headphones improve concentration as students advance at an individual pace on their assigned computers. This is one of our most popular camps, and is often combined with another camp to create a Full Day camp. |
